Facing oppressive rule in Egypt, Musa’s mother trusted Allah’s protection and placed Musa in a basket to set him adrift in the River Nile. “Despite the difficulty, she trusted Allah (SWT) that he will protect her baby and reunite him with her,” says Ustadha Lobna.
The story serves as a reminder that Allah’s promises are always true because he reunited Musa with his mother.
